Now is the perfect time to make changes in your life and surroundings! With Pluto going direct on the 8th, we can benefit from its’ light as is gives us direction and focus. Now we can see our flaws and a means to change them. With a Full moon in Pisces on the 15th, there’s an urge, compelling us to make changes for our own emotional happiness. However, when Mercury goes retrograde on the 24th it brings with it those pesky miscommunications. But true to form, a new Moon on the 29th which will bring us back to an emotional balance with all the chaos of this month.
August 2008
The mighty lion this month starts off with a roar! Leo brings a solar eclipse and new moon on the 1st, enabling us with a renewed sense of creativity. By the 6th, you’ll see practical applications to your vision as Venus goes into Virgo. However, with Mercury and Mars following Venus, you’ll also be able to bring these ideas into physical form. Keep moving in that direction because on the 16th, the full moon and lunar eclipse in Aquarius will bring a little drama to the situation. Once the new blue moon in Virgo arrives on the 30th, all the drama will cease and you’ll see the fruits of your labor.

Hold onto you seats because this month is going to be a bumpy ride! With the sun, Mercury retrograde and the new Moon on the 2nd, all in Gemini, this month truly has a duality to it. If you don’t like what’s going on this minute, wait it will change! However, the full Moon on the 18th gives us the ability to find the humor in the situation. Finally when Mercury goes direct on the 19th, we can see the truth and act upon it to correct what has gone wrong.

We begin this month with a Grand Trine in all the earth signs. For you this means that you are grounded, enabling you to bring forth new energies and thought in your day to day routine and set a new physical direction in all our lives. The new Moon on the 5th re enforces our emotional need for security. The good thing is on the 19th the Full moon in Scorpio will change our emotions to physically see our true security. Be careful after the 26th. Mercury will go retrograde in Gemini and miscommunications will be prevalent.

With the Sun and the New Moon on the 11th in Libra, all will be looking at their relationships with others. In love, you’ll be looking into the commitment-part of it. Be careful, with Mercury going retrograde on the 12th, as communications will become challenging. Wait until after the 24th when it goes back into Libra to understand where your mate is coming from. With the Sun and the new Moon on the 12th in Leo, creativity is the key for this month. Adding to the mix we have a Mars in Taurus. This means that we are going to try to stay in our grounded ways, but the south Node in Virgo won’t let us. So let Mercury in Cancer work for you. Use your thoughts to create what you want, not what you think everyone else wants from you and you’ll find by the time the full Moon in Pisces comes on the 28th, all will fall into place.

Are you getting tired of all the changes that have been transpiring? Well, relax because it will hit its peak this month with that nasty Mercury retrograde going direct on the 9th, and the Void of Course New Moon on the 14th; we’ll be on the down slide. However, it’ll feel like it’s not going fast enough for you when Venus-conjunct-Saturn goes retrograde on the 27th and the full moon arrives on the 29th. Relax; this is not a time for urgency. All will be done in its right time and will be to the benefit of all in the greater scheme of life.

This month we have not one but 2 full moons and both are in Scorpio! The full Moon on the 2nd begins the emotional transformations, which are the key words used to describe this months tone. What has not been seen previously will be revealed will now. The new moon in Taurus on the 16th, will challenge us to look within at our own personal beliefs. Finally on the 31st, the blue moon arrives and empowers us to act upon what we know to be true. One thing I can say is that for all there will be change.
